JENNIFER WILSON
I have been an artist for over 40 years. I developed a love for drawing as a child and developed a passion for painting in high school. I received my BFA from Auburn University in Illustration/Graphic Design and worked commercially for over 10 years. Being interested in the life sciences, led me to specialize in medical illustration and healthcare marketing and education. As well as freelancing, I served as art director for Baptist Hospital in Memphis, TN. I’ve continued my art education studying with locally and nationally known artists. In 2010, I began selling my work. I would describe myself as a figurative artist and have developed a large body of work using mid-century candid photographs as inspiration. The images that captivate me the most are those depicting connection and relationship.
